**Full Job Description**

**The role will involve**:

- Proving high quality teaching, training, and assessments on all programmes to meet the needs of the learners.
- Maintaining up to date expert knowledge of the sector(s) you work within (e.g., qualification sectors and educational sector).
- Providing regular, accurate, timely, formative/summative feedback.
- Supporting enrichment activities for all learners
- Being flexible in your approach to lessons and structure.
- Providing both 1:1 and group teaching.
- Being able to use a blended learning approach to teaching with is outcome based.
- Providing high quality functional skills teaching and liaising with functional skills tutor.
- Preparing learners to successfully complete their EPA.
- Safeguarding the wellbeing of all learners.
- Completing accurate and timely learner documentation such as Reviews, Individual learning plans
- The ability to manage the behaviours of learners.
- Maintaining accurate records of teaching, visits, and achievements.
- Keeping accurate, timely, detailed records chronicling the progress of the learner’s journey
- Promoting engagement and innovation in lessons, highly motivating learners to achieve.
- Be able to navigate online, digital platforms.

**Experience**:

- Health & Social Care Tutor
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant role
- Experience Delivering up to Level 5 in Adult Care

**Qualifications**:

- **Must**_ hold a relevant / recognised qualification for Assessor / Tutor i.e: - A1 - CAVA - TAQA - D32 / 33
- **Must**_ have health and social care qualifications to Level 5 or above.

**Desirable** to hold a teaching qualification, PLTTS or equivalent.

**Other requirements**:

- **Must **_have a clean driving license and a willingness to travel within the North East region.
