**Unqualified Secondary Classroom Assistant**

We at EdEx are thrilled to announce that we are working alongside a fantastic Secondary School in Richmond who are currently looking to take on x3 brilliant Unqualified Secondary Classroom Assistants, to start this September 2024.

So, what does this opportunity present to you?

As an Unqualified Secondary Classroom Assistant, you will be there to provide support to the lead teacher throughout the lesson, assisting with the preparing and distributing of materials etc. You will also be responsible for supporting the needs of the students and those with SEN, holding 1:1 or group sessions to provide focus on the work they have set out and tailor the learning process to ensure it meets their needs.

This role is perfect for individuals who are looking to gain valuable experience in the classroom before going on to become a fully qualified teacher through PGCE or Teach First routes.

**Unqualified Secondary Classroom Assistant - About the role**
- Unqualified Secondary Classroom Assistant
- Working both inside and outside the classroom alongside KS3, KS4 & KS5
- Working with students in 1:1 and group focus groups to improve academic and social performance
- Can involve working alongside SEN and SEMH needs (ASD, ADHD, Anxiety etc)
- Assisting the lead teacher with delivering classes, helping with preparing and distributing materials etc
- ** £105 - £110 per day - Term time only**:

**Unqualified Secondary Classroom Assistant - About the School**
- Latest Ofsted report 'Outstanding'
- Friendly and welcoming teachers and STL to provide insight and knowledge
- Excellent curriculum delivered by knowledgeable and experienced staff
- Brilliant transport links, cycle-to-work scheme, and onsite parking
- Based within Richmond
- Hold a 1st or 2:1 from a reputable university
- Strong academic background (A Levels & GCSEs)
- Have a passion for education and delivering the curriculum
- Previous experience working alongside children is desirable
- An individual with passion and drive who can work well as a part of a wider team
