Due to continuous growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Vending Operator to work within our friendly and professional team. At Quench Me we expect an excellent level of customer service as this is a front-line mobile role, visiting client sites daily to restock and clean our high quality coffee machines and snack, can and bottle, and food merchandisers.
This is an ideal opportunity if you are a friendly, presentable person who enjoys interacting with clients in a courteous customer-focused way and take pride in the responsibility of maintaining your machines to a very high standard.
This role has strong career progression opportunities and the chance to learn new and interesting basic engineering skills.
About the role:
Cleaning and replenishing coffee machines and ensuring that the hygiene and cleanliness of your machines comply with both Quench Me and AVA guidelines and standards.
Ensuring all merchandise is adequately stocked and rotated so no out of date products are displayed in your machines.
A can-do attitude and willingness to fix minor faults and to report major faults back to the Service Desk immediately while on site.
Completing all relevant stock and cash control using the handheld Quench Me Vend Manager system.
Collecting cash from machines securely as directed and returning to the depot as required.
Taking responsibility for stock rotation to ensure minimum waste and efficient ordering of products to ensure adequate levels are available.
Courteous liaison with our clients, providing a high level of care and customer point of contact during your visits.
Same day reporting of any accidents, customer complaints and product related issues to the Service Desk or Service Manager.
Providing cover for colleague’s routes if needed.
Attendance of any relevant training courses, team meetings and any reasonable management requests.
About Quench Me:
Established in 1979 and with over 40 years’ experience in the vending industry we have remained a family-owned business and are passionate about providing tailor made solutions to our customers with exciting products and quality drinks. We have an interesting and varied client base ranging from office based businesses, hospitals, film studios, local authorities, gyms and education.
Requirements for the role:
Hold a full UK driving licence (clean and no more than 6 points)
Van driving experience required.
You will be looking after two sites in Banbury and Nuneaton and will need to travel between them.
Shifts will cover weekends and any holiday/ sickness cover
Good time management skills to ensure your mobile route is adhered to
High level of customer-facing and communication skills
Attention to detail in completing all relevant stock and cash controls
A can-do attitude to learning new skills and an interest in solving minor engineering problems
Commitment to weekend work
**Job Type**: Part-time, permanent position
Area: The position available is for: Banbury & Nuneaton
**Salary**: £11.06 an hour
Hours: Saturday and Sunday (general working hours are 08:00 - 16:30) with some weekday work covering holidays/ sickness
Additional Pay: Overtime is paid at time and a third after 40 hours have been worked per week
