_**Head Concierge / Duty Manager - £25k to £26k - Residential Luxury Retirement Complex - NW London / Harrow**_
This opportunity of a Head Concierge, with Duty Manager responsibilities on a rota basis, is located within a luxury retirement complex, offering its residents who have their own private apartments, a 5* Hotel service and luxury retirement living. The HeadConcierge will be working with the concierge team. The position is to ensure all areas of the front desk is run smoothly and ensuring all standards are adhered to. The roll includes, valet parking, meet and greet, updating system, end of day banking, ensuringthe homeowners are greeted and shopping, parcels are recorded and delivered to homeowners efficiently, security walks or the building, maintenance bookings, assisting with any other requests from homeowners.
Under the direction of the Deputy/General Manager, manage and co-ordinate Front Office operations to provide efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble free and proactive service to residence; hence maximize upselling of products and other services and increaseguest satisfaction.
**SALARY ETC**:
- £25k to £26k + benefits
- Permanent, full-time
- Working on a rota basis, 5 out of 7 days.
- NW London / Harrow
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- You must be able to drive and have a driving license, as you will be valet parking.
- To have a bubbly, very friendly, patient, and dedicated manner
- To have held a similar role within a Hotel, or residential organisation, or similar.
- Able to motivate a team and train / guide them in delivering a 5* service, with a warm, friendly and patient approach.
- Demonstrates an ability to develop a network of providers and services.
- Displays excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Maintains a professional demeanour at all times, working both independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrates a warm, engaging, and patient manner.
- Can demonstrate use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Internet skills.
**DUTIES TO INCLUDE**:
- Participates, as an active member, with the retirement community’s management team in developing plans for hospitality services including: a) service offerings, b) budget, c) customer communication, d) satisfaction measurements, and e) input for programdevelopment.
- Coordinates services with community department heads for residents in a timely fashion. Works closely with the community book-keeper to insure accurate billing.
- Ensures that Front Office is staffed according to need by utilizing business forecasts to schedule employee.
- Maintains a professional image with appropriate business partners and vendors.
- Plays an active role in community functions by assisting in planning, set-up and delivery of service to residents.
- Participates in marketing the retirement community and its hospitality services.
- Communicates effectively with maintenance to ensure all front of house areas are in good working condition and any maintenance requested are carried out in a timely fashion.
- Works along side and communicates effectively with the House Keeping department to ensure apartment cleans are scheduled effectively on a weekly basis and any requests from residence are action immediately.
- Controls and analyses departmental costs on an ongoing basis; takes action to control negative deviation
- Monitors Front Office activities regarding discounts, billing instructions, and compliance with hotel credit policies
- Brings major needs for repair to the attention of the General Manager
