**The Role**:
Our site in Huntingdon is currently recruiting for a Supervisor to join the Logistics and Sample Management team.

The Supervisor is accountable for developing, monitoring, and reporting of metrics for the shipping/logistics and sample management function. Additionally you will maintain relationships with Supplier, Couriers, Government Agencies, and all international stakeholders.

**Essential Job Duties**:

- Managing, scheduling and coordinating proactively and in conjunction with other groups or departments the daily activities of the group and liaising with other groups, sections and departments as appropriate.
- Assuring appropriate communication within the group, particularly for dissemination of information
- Understanding and interpreting study plans and identifying problems resulting from the study plan or during study conduct and taking appropriate action.
- Planning, organizing and participating in meetings
- Ensuring maintenance of instruments and equipment is performed (i.e. maintenance, validation and calibration)
- Providing support, training and guidance for less experienced staff.

**Experience**:

- Extensive logistics and shipping experience
- Prior line management or training experience preferred
- Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Project
