We are looking for Packagaing Operatives either on Days or Nights to join our Yard Team here at PrepWorld - a busy fresh cut fruit factory with a brand new site based in Northfleet, Gravesend, Kent.

**Positions available**:
**Packaging Operatives (DAY SHIFT)**
Days of work: Sunday - Wednesday OR Wednesday to Saturday
Hours of work: 05:00 - 17:00
Pay: starting at £10.60 per hour (level 1), climing to £11.30 per hour (level 2), and £11.60 per hour (level 3)

**Packaging Operatives**
Days of work: Wednesday to Saturday
Hours of work: 17:00 - 05:00 **(NIGHT SHIFT)**
Pay: starting at £11.80 per hour (level 1), climing to £12.40 per hour (level 2)

**MAIN DUTIES**:

- To drive and handle all MHE equipment in a respectful, controlled, and safe manner ensuring all start up documents are filled in correctly
- Moving of pallets/stock around the warehouse in a safe and controlled manner
- Unload delivery vehicles that arrive on site in a safe and controlled manner following all intake processes.
- Support when required with customer tray stock counts
- Provide accurate packaging stock counts of all packaging SKU’s.
- Take ownership of delivery note and ensure these are signed and passed onto the area Supervisor/Team leader
- Understand how to read the packaging plans/Bill of material to identify correct stocks needed for production
- Pick and supply packaging in advance according to the daily packaging plans and supply to the airlock room in preparation for production
- Top up print room with labels daily following the Kan Ban system in place
- Man the airlock room and issue packaging to the production high care when requested
- Ensure all packaging transfers are recorded on Culverdocs.
- Have knowledge of all packaging SKU’s & customer tray types

**Who we are looking for**:

- MUST hold a current valid FLT certification
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Good level of English communication skills (Speaking and Writing and Listening)
- Show good teamwork skills and be able to work/liaise together to ensure team goals/objectives are successfully achieved
- First aid & Fire marshal trained (advantageous)
