Senior Quantity Surveyor

The company takes on full construction projects (design and build) which are typically steel framed buildings of both beam and stick and portal frame construction.

**Senior Quantity Surveyor duties include**:

- Manage all cost reporting relating to projects, including cash flow.
- Reviewing contracts and preparation of contract documents.
- Work to maintain project timelines / deadlines - monthly reporting.
- Understanding and knowledge of types of contracts and conditions.
- Preparing interim valuations/final accounts.
- Attend pre and post award meetings.
- Complete the negotiation, completion, and administration of all JCT/NEC and bespoke forms of sub-contract.
- Maintain excellent client relationships and communications to both client and the company’s commercial and site teams.

**Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements**:

- Previous experience of working within the steelwork / Construction industry is ideal but not absolutely necessary in both areas.
- Minimum experience as a Senior QS / QS in a similar construction / engineering environment is 3 years.
- Commercially astute.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Good organizational ability.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and planning skills.
- To possess an aim and ambition to progress a career within this large and varied organization with many career doors
