The post holder will be part of the internal Onebright clinical team and will provide the delivery of high-quality evidence base cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)interventions and other evidence base interventions the clinician is qualified to deliver.

You will work with CYP with different cultural backgrounds and ages who have a range of mental health conditions for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. As a member of the Onebright clinical team you will be responsible for the deliveryof evidence-based assessment and treatment in an effective and efficient manner. This includes ensuring that you meet the agreed performance targets whilst ensuring that clients’ needs remain central to the delivery of the service

**Responsibilities**:

- Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service
- Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment and treatment of CYP in line with the clinical needs and service requirements
- Deliver assessment and treatment to determine the primary presenting problem and goals for CYP
- Ensure that all outcome measures (RCADS and disorder specific subscales) are routinely administered in line with the service requirements and used therapeutically to monitor progress and evidence change
- Formulate and implement evidence-based CBT protocols for CYP, using easily understood language and sensitivity to individual needs
- Involve parents in line with the CYP pathway
- Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week to ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient
- Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service
- Keep coherent records of all clinical activity in line with service requirements
- Integrate issues surrounding school and home life into the overall therapy process
- Contribute to clinical audits of service performance, including service user surveys and evaluations, and help to collate and disseminate the results for feedback
- Liaise with other stakeholders from a range of agencies in the care provided to CYP where relevant.

Professional
- Ensure the maintenance of standards of practice according to the employer and any regulating, professional and accrediting bodies (e.g. NMC, HCPC, BABCP)
- Keep up to date on new recommendations/guidelines set by the Department of Health (e.g. National Institute for Clinical Excellence)
- Ensure that client confidentiality is always protected
- Be aware of, and keep up to date with advances in the spheres of CBT and other psychological therapies
- Ensure clear professional objectives are identified, discussed and reviewed with your line manager on a regular basis as part of continuing professional development (CPD)
- Attend clinical supervision on a regular basis as agreed with your supervisor
- Participate in individual performance review and respond to agreed objectives
- Keep up to date all records in relation to CPD and your personal development plan
- Maintain up to date specialist knowledge of latest theoretical and service delivery models/developments
- Attend relevant conferences / workshops in line with identified professional objectives
- Participate in service improvement by highlighting issues and implementing changes in practice.
- To contribute to the development of best practice within the service
- To maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and procedures
