A new vacancy has arisen for a **Delivery Driver** **(Internal Plant Trunk Driver)** within our company. We are a market leader in the provision of clean garments to the food processing and manufacturing industries. We also offer consumables and PPE services and a large supplier to the pharmaceuticals industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the driving division of the company based at our depot in Swindon.

**LOCATION**: Swindon, Wiltshire

**JOB TITLE**:Delivery Driver (Internal Plant Trunk Driver)

**JOB TYPE**:Full time

**HOURS OF WORK**: Monday to Friday, 3.00pm - 12.00am (approximately), with occasional weekends (paid at overtime rate)

**PAY**: £138.98 per day

**Duties to include**:

- Perform daily defect vehicle checks each day.
- Loading the vehicle with Garments, Consumables, Mats and Roller Towels using the handheld personal digital assistant (PDA), also known as a handheld PC, where appropriate.
- Delivering/Collecting to and from our internal depots.
- To complete any and all paperwork necessary for the route.
- Maintaining the drivers Route Book for the route.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles on a daily basis.

**Qualifications**:

- Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
- Valid Driver CPC/ C1 - Essential

**Personal attributes**:

- Good level of spoken and written English
- Self-motivated and committed to the business
- Good at staying focused and coping with pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to use initiative
- Physically capable for the manual handling requirements of the role
