**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision of Nightshift Team**:

- Lead and manage a team of window fabrication employees during the night shift.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow and production continuity.
- Monitor performance, provide coaching, and ensure team adherence to production schedules and targets.
- **Production Management**:

- Oversee the window fabrication process, ensuring all operations are performed accurately and on time.
- Ensure the use of correct materials and tools and monitor production quality to meet customer and company specifications.
- Coordinate production orders, ensuring deadlines are met and any issues are resolved promptly to avoid delays.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure all windows/doors meet required quality standards.
- Perform regular quality checks on finished products and provide feedback to employees on improvements.
- Handle and resolve any issues related to defects and rework.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce health and safety standards during the night shift to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Ensure that all team members are using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- **Inventory and Equipment Management**:

- Oversee the availability and proper usage of materials, tools, and equipment needed for window fabrication.
- Coordinate with the day shift team to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
- Ensure that all machinery and equipment are maintained and functioning properly during the shift.
- **Reporting and Communication**:

- Report to management on nightshift production output, quality control, and any operational issues.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift supervisor and management to ensure smooth handover between shifts.
- Address any team concerns or issues that arise during the shift and escalate major issues to senior management.
- **Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting**:

- Identify and resolve any production bottlenecks or labour issues during the night shift.
- Implement solutions quickly to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff for repairs or troubleshooting as needed.
- **Training and Development**:

- Train and develop nightshift employees on proper fabrication techniques, equipment usage, and safety practices.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, updates on production schedules, and safety briefings.

- **Leadership & Supervisory Skills**: Ability to lead and motivate a nightshift team to achieve production targets.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ensures all products meet high-quality standards, with a focus on precision and accuracy.
- **Communication Skills**: Capable of effective communication with team members, day shift supervisors, and management.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to resolve production issues, machinery problems, or personnel challenges swiftly.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of window fabrication processes, materials, and equipment.
- **Time Management**: Able to manage the production schedule to meet tight deadlines during night operations.
- **Health & Safety Awareness**: Good knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
