**Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity**

This role reports to the Head of Asset Finance Portfolio Management. It will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Asset Managers within the asset Management team; driving continuous improvement to improve efficiencies; ensuring that a consistently high level of service is provided to key stakeholders; and building and sharing knowledge in relation to the assets financed by AF across the business.

**What will your day look like?**
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop Asset Managers, enhancing their productivity and ensuring consistent, high-quality service.
- Asset Forum Leadership: Chair the monthly Asset Forum, focusing on sectors like construction and agriculture.
- Relationship Building: Develop networks in new sectors to inform decisions on asset risk and structure.
- Risk and Compliance: Contribute to risk forums and credit committees, ensuring the team operates within mandates.
- Knowledge Sharing: Make Asset Management a Centre of Excellence by increasing its role across the Bank and developing sector-specific reports.

**What do we expect from you?**
- Experience: 5+ years in Asset Finance with expertise in asset management, including Commercial Vehicles, Construction, and Machinery.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for understanding assets, and knowledge of risks in Asset Finance.
