**Salary -** £56,000 - 65,000 + Inner London Weighting (£3344) if applicable

The British Red Cross is seeking an experienced HR/People professional who will be accountable for the business partnering service provided to UK Operations.

**What you’ll be doing**

As Senior HR Business Partner, managing a team of two, you’ll be working with Business Partners and other People Services colleagues to encourage a collaborative approach and to identify issues of mutual interest and concern.

You’ll be responsible for promoting and encouraging effective people and performance management throughout the directorate, including the use of data and will be expected to provide insightful analysis of available data.

You will act as a trusted advisor to our new Executive Director of UK Operations, and the UK Operations management team, providing support and guidance on a range of strategic people issues.

You will support organisational design from concept through to consultation, working with colleagues across people services to ensure successful change management approaches.

This role is instrumental in facilitating a strong performance management culture supported by enabling policy aligned to our UK Operations Strategy and major change programmes.

**What we are looking for**

It is essential that you are an experienced leader with a good understanding of the full range of HR services (Resourcing, Advice and Casework, Development, Employee relations, volunteer management).

You will have experience as a senior professional, or senior operational manager with extensive experience of working with HR professionals.

Having worked as a genuine partner to a business or service, you will have experience of workforce planning, talent management and succession planning to develop enabling work programmes.

Data literate, you will have the ability to interpret and share reports and KPIs as well as having experience of using metrics and other data.
