triSaaS are looking to expand our team with the appointment of an experienced Product Owner to work on a new Time & Attendance SaaS product for the hospitality market.
We are looking for someone that is passionate about client experiences, curious about understanding client needs with a flair for technology and innovation. You will push strategy to exceed client expectations and will thrive on helping the company to be become a market leader in the field.
You will be responsible for the roadmap of a new greenfield supported by the product technical lead. You will define the epics and user stories to bring the product from concept to minimum viable product and beyond.
Our expectation is of hybrid home / office working with a small amount of collaborative time based at our development office, just outside Liverpool and / or our head office in Edinburgh.
**Responsibilities**
- Define the goals for the development projects you are working on in line with priorities set by the MD and CTO.
- Liaise with key stakeholders including clients and the development team to ensure goals and objectives are well understood.
- Work closely with clients including attending face-to-face and virtual meetings to fully understand their specific requirements.
- Understand and create customer journey and visuals and act as the primary contact between the stakeholder and the various teams.
- Agree on an MVP vs subsequent items.
- Define solutions by working with the technical lead.
- Map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development.
- Ability to write clear functional documentation and communicate with development team.
- Manage the product and sprint backlogs, prioritising based on the overall strategy and business objectives.
- Juggle scope, budget, and time, weighing priorities according to the needs and objectives of stakeholders.
- Ensure the product is fit for purpose and has the ability to run 24/7, at scale, conducting testing and validation of functional changes before release.
- Key stakeholder in UAT sessions approving feature changes and assuring quality standards through all stages of the product development.
- Accountable for reporting on product KPI’s.
**Required Experience and Skills**
- Must have Time & Attendance and HR software experience
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles
- Be client focused
- Be able to prioritise and take ownership
- Requirements Definition - developing Epics, User Stories and Personas
- Stakeholder Management
- Positive attitude - team player
Salary range: depending on experience.
