Baker / Bakery Assistant

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation and baking of various bakery items, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and baking areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other baking tools.
- Collaborate with the bakery team to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery setting is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A genuine passion for baking and food preparation is essential.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the bakery’s operational needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.41-£15.00 per hour
