Scotia Roofing & Building Supplies, part of National Timber Group are looking to recruit an Internal Salesperson to join their well-established branch at Longtown Street, Dundee, DD4 8LF.

**Duties will include**:

- Serving trade, trade cash and public at trade counter efficiently and courteously
- Following up all quotations raised within a 48 hour period
- Establishing when materials are required and ensuring that all quotations issued are followed up and converted or marked as ‘lost’ on Bistrack (training will be provided)
- Processing customer orders on Bistrack and liaising with Operations Manager regarding stock availability and deliveries.
- Processing website orders
- Cash handling
- Planning and prioritising of work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the department
- Working pro-actively within the customer service team
- Escalating customer service issues to Assistant Branch Manager and ensuring resolution
- Liaising with company management to support and implement growth strategies
- Ensuring best service levels for all Company customers through all locations
- Controlling and maintaining your allocated customer accounts
- Increasing the number of trading customer accounts and ensuring that this business grows
- Ensuring that all customers trade within their agreed credit terms and resolving queries in order to ensure prompt payment
- Participating in external/internal staff meetings as required
- Complying with Company Health and Safety procedures

**Working hours, Benefits and Salary**:

- Full time position, Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12.00pm. An average of 43.5 hours per week.

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
