Keeping our buildings in a clean and tidy state is vitally important for all our users. Our Cleaner is the one who will make this happen and ensure our buildings are well presented.
There are three main aspects to this role. Firstly, you’ll be responsible for cleaning Knutsford Market Hall ahead of the market trading days and other events, showing our recently refurbished building off to its full potential.
Our Council Offices is a hub of activity, both as the place our office team work and as a community building used by organisations such as Citizens Advice and for our council meetings. You’ll help keep this historic building clean and tidy.
The third area you’ll work at is the Tabley Hill Chapel in Knutsford Cemetery, keeping it tidy for visitors and cemetery users and giving it an extra special treatment ahead of wedding ceremonies held there.
You’ll undertake a range of cleaning duties across these buildings - vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning and restocking toilets, wiping surfaces and undertaking periodic deeper cleans of areas.
We will provide all the necessary training and support you to excel in the role.
