Retail Area Store Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Covering the role of a Store Manager on an interim basis wherever required in the region, adapting your leadership style and approach to individual store situations and circumstances to effectively lead, coach and develop teams
- Supporting the Regional Manager by organising the temporary redeployment of colleagues across stores in the region to fill gaps and ensure adequate coverage
- Acting as an ambassador for the region, retail team and O&CC, embedding the HEART customer engagement model to ensure stores underpin activity with a customer-first approach
- When acting as Store Manager, ensuring that stores adhere to company operational, health and safety and people policies and procedures
- Continuously raising the bar for store teams by identifying and recruiting talent, supporting with investigations, disciplinaries and grievances, and contributing to the development of store expertise across the region
- Delivering consistently high retail standards across the region (exterior, shop floor and 'outback’)
- Actively supporting and demonstrating the company vision, mission and values

We want to make sure that you have everything you need to be successful in this role. In general this means we would like you to have;
- Proven track record working as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a service-added retail environment
- Flexibility to work at stores throughout the region as and when required
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen within a sales focused/retail environment
- Ability to earn trust, build rapport and provide leadership within short timescales
- High levels of organisation with a proactive approach
- PC literate (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
