A global organisation within the electronics and manufacturing space is looking to add to its legal team with the addition of a permanent Paralegal at their Crawley offices.
This role is a key hire for the business and will take responsibility for handling contracts, dealing with data protection queries, developing strategy, and identifying risk - providing a first-class service to the organisation.
The duties are broad, exciting, and challenging and will include the following:

- Data protection/GDPR matters working with the Legal team and outside counsel on GDPR projects, ensuring the business is compliant and that all documents/key information is secure and confidential
- Assisting in compliance meetings including taking minutes and circulating as appropriate
- Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
- Dealing with the contracts process and filing of documents
- Advising the business on contractual risk
This fantastic and pivotal role would ideally suit a commercial Paralegal with at least 2 years of relevant experience, a 2:1 LLB/2:1 non-law degree with at least a Commendation on the GDL. Exemplary commercial contracts expertise and understanding of DataProtection/GDPR are essential skills.
