**Role Title**: Technology Strategy Specialist
**Location**:Paddington
**What you’ll do**:
- Be a key member of an influential, high profiled and diverse Technology Strategy Team.
- Collaborate with the Domain and Market Technology Strategy Teams to develop, monitor and report on the progress of Tech2025 Technology Strategy to the Technology Leadership Team (TLT) and wider stakeholders.
- Deliver assigned elements/ components of the Vodafone end-to-end 5Yr Technology Strategy, e.g. responsible for a domain specific strategy or group of them.
- Deliver assigned elements / components of the Vodafone end-to-end Technology Priorities, including supporting analysis of plans vs agreed strategy/priorities.
- Lead alignment with Commercial and Business to ensure our technology priorities supporting the company strategy.
- Lead assessment for potential for automation opportunities of data insights and analytics across key strategic domains and priorities.
- Provide support as Technology point of contact to other Group functions and local markets on Technology strategy in cross domain topics.
- Has a shared responsibility for the delivery of end results and contributes to planning, finances/budget and policy formulation, including support to overall Technology planning, capital allocation reviews (CAR), etc.
- Understand and assess technology trends and evaluate impact on Vodafone Technology and business, internally and externally, suggesting improvements. Including supporting assessment for competitors.
- Help define the future state Technology strategy of Tech2030 through Horizon scanning and Tech trends shaping our industry.
- Be a trusted partner of the wider Technology Strategy eco-system ie Group functions and Local Markets to help deliver the Technology strategy Gap analysis, Technology Dashboards and Technology Refresh aspects of the Strategy.
- Support Group CTO during Technology Conferences.
- Support Investor Relations team during Investor days from Technology perspective.
**Who you are**:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in technology and strategy environment. A mix of both is preferred.
- Proficiency in various technology domains relevant to the organization's industry, such as networks, Digital, IT, cloud, data analytics, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
- Strategic thinking: ability to analyze complex technology landscapes, identify trends, and develop long-term technology strategies that align with the organization's business objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and business leaders.
- Capable of creating and driving strategy and stakeholder plans, both throughout own organization as well as direct and indirect stakeholders.
- Capacity to lead and influence without direct authority, guiding teams and stakeholders toward a shared vision.
- Ability to collaborate across departments, work with cross-functional teams, and build relationships to ensure alignment of technology strategies with overall business objectives.
- Fast learner with the ability to deep dive into new topics and identify key drivers of business trends and technologies.
- Eagerness to explore new technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
