Receptionist

At Hangloose Adventure we believe having fun is a serious business...

We are an outdoor adventure centre based at the Eden Project with many exciting activities including our world-class Skywire, England’s longest and fastest zipwire.

We are looking for several new members to join our fun and friendly reception team.

Previous retail or customer services experience is preferred, but a smile and a love of speaking to customers are essential. You will be the first and most important interaction with our customers, as they arrive to check in for a range of outdoor adrenaline activities.

This role is also eligible for performance-related bonuses throughout the season.

About the Role:

- You will assist with the operation of our reception desk either as an individual or as part of a bigger team, this involves check-in procedures for customers, handling of cash and credit card transactions, customer enquiries and bookings, answering phone calls, ticket sales, pro-active up-selling.
- Gift Shop: retailing of merchandise and photo / video packages
- An incentive bonus scheme for hitting sales targets
- Answering phone calls
- The role is seasonal, meaning that we will require your full availability across the Summer season, holidays, weekdays and weekends.
- The role is based upon a zero hour contract and will be on a fixed term basis

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £7.50-£10.50 per hour
