And this is where YOU come into the business as their new sales order processor.. You are the go-to person as sales order processor for making sure the orders that come in from sales are captured and logged. Then it's down to you to do your thing.... Every order is a new project, and the journey starts with you You ask yourself... Are we going to manufacture in-house? If so do we have the materials in stock or do we need to raise an order? How long is that process going to take? Will there be subcontracting involved? What's their lead time? You have a good head for remembering codes, once you get that order in you can code everything up ready for the manufacturing process to begin. Once you have started the process going you then keep in-touch with each stage to ensure that the customer is regularly updated.
