**Job Overview**

hours - mon - fri and every other week Tues - Sat

**Duties**
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting safety at all times.
- Assist in warehouse duties when not on the road, including cleaning, preparing sofas and beds for despatch.
- Working in a team.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.
- Previous warehouse and driving experience is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
