**Office Assistant - Part Time (Remote)**

With over 25 years of experience as an independent French food wholesaler, our online presence in the UK has grown rapidly and we are now looking for a new team member to accompany us in this amazing journey.

In the last 2 years, our sales have evolved from a B2B customer base to multiple online retail channels driven by an ever-growing demand for quality French food.

We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and accounts tasks supporting the Accounts Manager.

Your Responsibilities and Duties:

- Multi-currency bank reconciliation
- Ecommerce payment reconciliation
- Ongoing maintenance of an electronic filing system.
- Processing purchase invoices
- Raising credit requests
- Assisting with Import/Export declarations
- Stock management
- Assisting with suppliers payment runs and reconciliation of suppliers accounts
- Ad-hoc administrative duties
- Assist with general accounting functions e.g. recording payments, preparing reports
Skills required:

- Proven experience as an **office assistant**, accounts assistant or relevant role
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Good knowledge of MS Office and office management software
- Xero knowledge preferrable
