CRP Group are working with a large Automotive Organisation that are currently recruiting 2 Design Engineers to work on their specialist vehicle production.

**Main Responsibilities and Requirements**
- Experience of 3D CAD systems, CATIA3DExperience or V5 preferred.
- Creating solid parts, assemblies, detailed arrangements, and drawings
- Surfacing, sheet metal and/or FEA experience desired but not essential
- Experience in vehicle design, bus design and/or steel structures preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle homologation legislation
- Generating Bills of Materials, based on customer specifications
- Ability to carry out engineering calculations where your work requires (e.g. weight distribution, basic stress calcs)

**Essential points**
- Excellent computer skills to include CAD/CAM systems and Microsoft Office packages.
- Good all-round project / management leadership skills and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent Team working and communication skills.
- Starter/completer; you will be required to take ownership of work from the initial design stages, through drawings and specification to overseeing initial fitment on the vehicle.
- Ability to work autonomously.
