Works with all other PMO roles, Heads of Pillar, Programme/Project Managers to provide PMO functions and services which will have a measurable impact on the effectiveness of the Change initiatives and deliveries.
- Creates and provides essential Management Information (MI) to deliver the short and longer term business strategic objectives to enable Senior Management decision making. MI should be clear and appropriate for the target audience, information should beaccurate, analysed with observations summarised before publishing.
- Demonstrates best practice PMO functions and services to ensure a consistent and excellent level of service that means customer expectations are met consistent with what is communicated.
- Reviews, challenges and evaluates activity within the Transformation Pillars, ensuring integrity of the overall model is maintained, making recommendations to the PMO Manager and Senior Portfolio Analysts where conflicts and contention exist.
- Provides support and guidance for Junior Portfolio Analysts.
- Ensures appropriate prioritising, planning, resourcing and contingency for customer issues are reviewed and tracked in the Pillars and escalation reporting is included in Portfolio MI.
- Demonstrates flexibility and mobility to support changing customer needs and new ways of working (including but not limited to Agile development model, LEAN), along with actively supporting new portfolio/IT tools to enable new working practices.
