We are looking to add to our team of carers, someone with great experience and leadership skills to join as a **Care Supervisor.**

In this role you will be supporting our care teams to provide the highest levels of community care to support vulnerable adults living in the community.

As a care supervisor, you will be required to travel to different people’s homes to undertake spot checks, care calls and customer assessments.

Some of your time will be office based and you will be required to undertake administrative duties to ensure paperwork is filed, uploaded and stored appropriately.

**Also** **ensure**:

- Reports and audits are completed.
- You will be required to speak to customers, relatives, health care professionals, carers and take other telephone enquiries.

In this role, you will be required to take part in the on-call service (details to be discussed).

**Essential: You will need to own your own reliable vehicle and hold a full UK license to travel throughout these areas.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that our care teams are operating at the highest levels and following company policy and procedures.
- Working as part of the team to ensure that customer care plans are accurate, up-to-date and reflect the ongoing needs of each customer.
- Working with the team to address complaints, incidents and accidents, and ensuring continuity of the service.
- **Reports to: Company Director **Hours**:37.5 hours average on a rota basis
- **Monday
- Friday**: Flexible hours. Time will be spent spot checking, training, and supporting the team. In the event of sickness you will be required to undertake care calls inside your contracted hours.This may require dropping in to care calls to support carers, spot checking weekend care worker.Providing back up for time sensitive care calls if the team are delayed, covering carer sickness when require.Meeting customers and/or their relatives to provide support and assistance during the weekend period.This may also require answering some telephone calls at peak periods, however you will not be out in the field if this is the case.
- **Overview**:To support our customers and carers in line with our agreed ways of working. Whether that be routine observations, reviews, response to concerns raised, training or support.
- **You will work closely with **:Our team and build supportive but professional relationships with our care team.You will also work closely with our office team, and out of hours on call team members to ensure a smooth and high-quality service.
- **Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years previous experience in community care or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Ability to support and guide carers
- Strong communication skills

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- providing care: 1 year (required)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
