An excitingopportunity has arisen to join the Community Children’s and Young People Service (CCYPS) admin team in a new role providing oversight of the administration of the SEND process and PFA framework, whilst assuming other project coordination responsibilities across CCYPS according to service need. SEND and PFA are central to all our services, in line with local and national agendas.

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our multi-disciplinary health team who provide nursing, OT, PT and SLT services to children and young people with complex needs.

You will provide admin support to our SEND and PFA leads, as well as developing our admin processes to support services to meet their statutory responsibilities. Whilst there is no line management responsibility within this role, you may need to provide cover for Admin Team Leader colleagues.
- To provide high quality and organised administrative support function to the SEND and PFA agendas and other identified projects within CCYPS.
- To develop a good understanding of the importance of clinical and performance review requirements of SEND and PFA.
- To collate performance data relating to EHCPs and PFA key performance indicators.
- To provide administrative leadership to the EHCP and PFA processes, implementing changes across teams and being responsible for the production of relevant standard operating procedures and pathways.
- To ensure that administration staff follow procedures in the retrieval and processing of referrals/data and provide quality assurance in line with trust targets.
- Prepare agendas, collating papers, taking minutes and updating of project action plans and reports, as required
- They will be required to lead on other time-limited identified projects within CCYPS and may need to provide cover for Admin Team Leader colleagues.

- Educated to NVQ 4 level or BTEC standard in an administration or equivalent level of experience and knowledge
- Knowledge of SEND and PFA agendas
- Working knowledge of patient information systems
- Understanding of NHS and/or Local Authority working
- Experience of supporting/leading project work
- Working with mínimal supervision and using own initiative
- To be flexible in the role to work/cover at other sites to support the demands of the service
