Teacher - Newcastle upon Tyne
CER Education are working with an SEND specialist school in Newcastle with hopes to find a Teacher with sufficient experience and qualifications relevant to the role.
The role is due to start as soon as possible, dependant on interview and clearance checks.
The role caters for multiple key stages ranging from KS1 to KS5. Successful applicants will be responsible for educating and leading SEND classes, teaching them life skills, helping catch up academically, empowering and inspiring confidence. Lesson planning,marking work and the more in depth responsibilities of a teacher may be required upon acceptance of vacancy.
As a teaching assistant you would be working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 - 3:45.
- You have experience in an education setting either teaching or supporting individuals.
- Have experience with individuals with SEND/SEMH Needs.
- You have a QTS or equivalent.
- You're passionate towards interacting and engaging with young learners on a personable and empowering level.
- The ability to pass DBS Check and provide references covering what you have been doing for the past 2 years to date.
