We're recruiting a 3 day per week, part-time HR Officer post with our public sector clients in Sheffield, paying £25,445.

**Description**

Providing support to our people and managers across the business on people and development activities. Being an ambassador for the people and development team, as the first point of contact for day to day matters.

Duties will include:

- Manage day to day recruitment activity, according to our plan and budget. Allocate work to the people and development support officer to meet our recruitment timelines. Prand that we recruit the right person for the right job at the right time.
- Lead on the development, delivery and regular review of our induction process, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
- Oversight and delegation of day to day people and development tasks, ensuring enquiries are answered in a timely manner, dealing with escalations from the people and development support officer and escalating further where necessary.
- Produce monthly and quarterly data to our people and people development business partners, to support our reporting to SLT/ELT and the board as well as supporting our leaders and identifying areas for improvement. Identify early trends, patterns and associatedrisk and escalate as appropriate.
- Oversight of our people development systems and platforms, ensuring accuracy of data and timely reporting, including Enable and Grow.
- Provide support across the whole spectrum of casework, including attendance management, discipline, grievance, etc.as required. Lead on first level meetings (for example first level absence warnings). Collate and prepare information packs for formal meetingsas agreed with people business partners
- Lead on organising and implementing programmes of learning that support the sharing of internal knowledge and expertise, with input from key stakeholders.
- Design, deliver and facilitate workshop materials as required and agreed with the people development business partners
- Design course evaluations and provide evaluation reporting, promoting organisational understanding of the impact of learning interventions and programmes
- Research and source external training providers using the managed learning framework, assisting with the procurement of training providers where required
- Build and maintain relationships at all levels in the business, both internally and externally.

**Required skills and experience**
- Driven self-starter, comfortable with working alone and as a pro-active team member.
- Experience of facilitating, designing and delivering training
- Experience of seeking out information and translating to robust advice, identifying and escalating risk as appropriate
- Ability to be a proactive problem solver
- Knowledge of HR, recruitment and learning and development policies and procedures
- Experience of using people and training systems and platforms for accessing, inputting and compiling data.
- Experience in collating and interpreting data to identify risks and inform decision making
