Update software on machines when required. learn new techniques and ways of working.
Participate and attend in experimental work in line with Best Practice.
Techniques employed are numerous and include preparative actities using a wide range of methods, quality control, involving measurement and analysis of samples using techniques such as fluorometry and electrophoretic separation and next generation sequencing.
To keep accurate records of all work carried out in order to facilitate effective team work.
Responsible for ordering supplies, recording delivery and any other important details.
To trouble-shoot and problem solve when systems and equipment fails discussing with other members of the team.
Update software on machines when required and attend regular meetings.
