Construction Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor
**Location**: Hillington, Glasgow
**Salary**: From £35,000 per annum (negotiable DOE) + quarterly performance bonus
**Hours**: 39 hours per week (full-time) or 24 hours per week (part-time)

Located in Hillington, Glasgow, with multiple sites throughout the west of Scotland, we are ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 accredited, with health and safety at the forefront of our operations. With a commitment to strategic growth, we are seeking a collaborative Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our dedicated team.
**Your Role**:
As our HSE Advisor, you will work closely with teams across the business to foster a culture of safety and compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring safe working practices, promoting environmental sustainability, and maintaining high standards of health and safety across all sites.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and carry out HSE inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification across our sites.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and enhance our environmental management systems, utilising our ISO 14001 accreditation.
- Support and guide staff in adopting safe working practices, delivering engaging safety briefings and toolbox talks.
- Provide up-to-date information on HSE legislation and communicate changes to ensure compliance throughout the business.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and work with the team to implement preventative measures.
- Communicate all HSE aspects with business directors, management, and clients as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Have an understanding of ISO accreditations would be advantageous
- Strong IT skills with a knowledge of process development
