3.5t Driver/porter

**Pickfords **arelooking for **3.5T Driver-Porters** to be a part of a team of motivated workers, carrying out the daily delivery and collection of full and part house moves. Pickfords is a fantastic national brand who specialise in removals and storage, offering a full range of professional removals and storage services for home and business.

The role will suit an experienced 3.5T Driver that wants to do more than just drive. Our Driver-Porters are responsible for delivering a high-quality service at all times to our customers when they move home, and for ensuring that Pickfords packing and loading standards are met.

What we’re looking for in our 3.5T Driver-Porter:

- Previous experience in removals is preferred but not essential
- Manual Handling and Customer Service skills
- Excellent spoken English
- Health & Safety Awareness
- Clean UK Driving licence (essential)
- Good level of fitness

Responsibilities include:

- Safe and successful completion of any relocation tasks
- Carry out point of work risk assessments as required
- Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles
- Carry out the safe assembly and dis-assembly of flat pack furniture

Pickfords will provide full training to equip you with the skills you need to lead your team, pack and load, understand health and safety together with customer service skills.
