Foh Supervisor

The Pipe and Glass is an award-winning, established pub with nine luxury bedrooms and holding one MICHELIN-star.

We are looking for a flexible, hardworking, passionate individual to join our Front of House team. The position is full time, approximately 40 hours a week, over daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

This role is the ideal opportunity for hospitality professionals looking to progress their career. Applicants will preferably have at least one years’ experience waitressing or bartending at supervisory level.

**Main duties and responsibilities to include**:

- To lead, engage and motivate the front of house team in delivering our mission of ‘Great Food with Great Yorkshire Hospitality’.
- Working alongside and communicating effectively with the owners, kitchen team, housekeepers and reservations office.
- Working with our managers in efficiently managing the daily operations of front of house.
- Delivering high quality service to ensure that all guests enjoy the best possible experience at the Pipe and Glass.
- Performing daily tasks to a consistently high standard.
- Effectively managing resources to maximise business performance.
- Attending training sessions when required and operating in line with the training received.
- Adhering to all health and safety practises to ensure a safe environment for our team and guests.
- A passion and enthusiasm for hospitality.
- Experience of cellar management with a knowledge of wines, real ales and spirits strongly preferred.

- Smart personal presentation
