To work in collaboration with the Lead Nurse in ensuring high standards of care and professional practice within the Paediatric nursing service. To act as a resource of specialist knowledge and expertise providing advice, supervision and support to Trust staff in relation to Paediatric nursing issues. Responsibility for the line management of Paediatric Senior Nurses/Specialist Nurses Provision of highly visible, credible and accessible leadership and support for nursing teams Promoting continuous development in clinical practice and delivery of patient care, encouraging innovation and appropriate change in service delivery. Managing resources within agreed budget.
