Position Overview:
**Job Description**:
A fantastic opportunity to join our Parts Direct Team. The Regional Controller will develop and convert Finning parts sales opportunities through extraordinary customer service and product knowledge. To provide specific technical advice to customers to aid the sales process, ensuring that the customer is fully aware of our parts, products and service that we offer. Helping the customer to make informed decisions about parts sales and service that best meet their needs. Dealing with customer enquiries that are specifically technical and/or complex in nature. Providing support to Parts Direct Customer Service Executives and Sales Advisors with technical enquiries and investing time into developing the wider team technical capability

Major Job Functions:

- Ensure personal and team performance in line with the Parts Direct Strategy. Key point of contact for internal and external customers, especially those of a technical and/or complex nature. Complete parts interpretation for customers to ensure the right part is sourced, ordered and delivered. (40%)
- Achieve effective support relationships with key functions (with particular focus on Supply chain and Warehouse operations). Liaise with other departments to ensure awareness of your customer requirements/agreed service levels/pricing etc. Gain support for efficient and effective operations to minimise transaction costs. (20%)
- Managing the customer journey through communication and regular updates, with a ‘customer first’ approach. Ensure that the customer understands the benefits of the Finning product against that of our competitor models. Monitor progress to ensure promised deliveries are achieved. Ensure the customer is regularly appraised of progress. Close sales opportunities. (15%)
- Gather and analyse relevant technical data to identify and pursue all potential sales opportunities. Identify opportunities to cross sell and upsell other CAT parts that would compliment the customers need. Stay up to date with current promotions and parts offers to ensure that the customer is aware of the best solutions available. (10%)
- Actively invest time in developing the technical capability of the wider Parts Direct team with the support and guidance on the technical capability lead supervisor. Providing mentoring to Call level 1 and Call level 2 advisors. Keeping up to date with industry technology and actively participating in training activities to maintain and improve product knowledge (15%)

- Production of quotations.
- Actively support the OMS process. A
- Sales to quote ratio, customer satisfaction, average transaction contribution, telephone answering - response and content, process improvement, data accuracy and credit note to parts interpretation ratio.
- Manage 3,000 customer contacts per month.
- 2,000 invoices per month and processes sales worth £10m+ per annum.
- Interface directly with Finning.

Education & Experience:

- Extensive experience of working with Caterpillar products
- Apprenticeship plus engineering experience
