**ABOUT THE TEAM**
You can play a key role on this journey by becoming the Sustainability Chief Marketing & Solutions Officer (CMSO) as part of the SAP’s Industries & Customer Advisory (ICA) team.
Industries & Customer Advisory (ICA) is a key organization within SAP driving Industry Thought Leadership, Innovation, Market Development, Customer Engagement, Value Advisory, Presales and Sustainability together with teams across SAP, as well as with customers and partners. Our focus is to drive Customer Success across all lines of business in 25 industries. ICA has global coverage with teams in all regions.
**YOUR FUTURE ROLE**
As the Sustainability Chief Marketing & Solutions Officer (CMSO), you will not only be a member of the Industries & Customer Advisory (ICA) Leadership team, but also a member of the Marketing & Solutions Board Area. You will take over the responsibility for the solution management, product marketing incl. commercial terms and pricing strategy for the Sustainability solution area. Furthermore, you will partner closely with the respective Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) counterparts to achieve the growth aspirations for the Sustainability solution area.
Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Work with Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to define the solution area growth strategy & plan grounded in market insights spanning customer needs, competition, and industry analysts
- Define the solution and marketing strategy to establish SAP as the “Sustainability Management” leader for business software
- Work closely with the SAP Chief Sustainability Officer
- Own market & competitive insights and aggregation of voice of customer, including customer advisory council and user group sponsorship
- Provide aggregated insights on market, new industry trends and customer needs to Chief Product Officer (CPO) and consult on prioritization for roll in of product requirements
- Align the sustainability solution portfolio, messaging, and positioning with all other Solution Areas and Industry teams
- Build a community of practices within M&S Board Area
- Build the bridge between Engineering and Sales to support prioritization of customer commitments
- Own Solution Area specific commercial terms (pricing and licensing), packaging (solution bundles) and promotion strategy
- Define the ecosystem strategy for each solution area in alignment with Chief Product Officer (CPO), Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)and corporate partner strategy
- Build a differentiated value proposition and compelling marketing messaging for all target audiences and drive business development with new compelling solution bundles
- Own all solution area marketing content and ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Define solution area marketing mix and investment to meet demand generation to consumption goals
- Ensure compelling customer success stories and references with demonstrated business value
**YOUR PROFILE**
- 15+ years’ experience in product management, product marketing, or similar discipline
- Deep understanding of Sustainability market, including key associations and political players
- Excellent understanding of the Sustainability solution area spanning product depth, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Experience in driving growth strategies, defining commercial terms, and marketing plans for cloud technology
- Excellent storyteller and proven ability to translate product truth into compelling value propositions and marketing messaging
- Experience with modern marketing channels spanning digital, social, virtual events, etc.
- Growth mindset with desire to learn and try new approaches
- Experience working closely with product engineering and sales leaders
- Ability to influence without authority and drive clarity and alignment across a large set of stakeholders
- Attractor of talent with proven experience leading high performing teams on a global scale with exemplar leadership NPS and employee engagement results
- Ability to translate global marketing strategies into execution on a regional level
- Fluency in English, any other language an asset.
