We are looking for an enthusiastic, helpful and customer focused people to join our Transport Team and benefit from a rewarding career with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
As well as driving, this role is a hands-on caring role which requires assisting passengers on and off the buses and will include a degree of manual handling.
The driver will ensure a professional, safe, and enjoyable journey for our passengers. Knowledge of Rotherham roads and areas is desirable however not essential. Although most work is within the Rotherham area, there may be times where routes are undertaken across the wider region.
The successful applicant will be required to follow various company procedures including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and an Enhanced DBS will be required before employment can be commenced.
