**Global IT infrastructure Operations Director**
Remote with ad-hoc global travel
A newly-created transformation opportunity for a Global IT Infrastructure Operations Director to deliver a new consolidated, global IT infrastructure landscape for a well-known manufacturer; including being responsible for the development of future strategicroadmaps and infrastructure technology.
Over the last 12 months, the Global IT Director has been leading the consolidation of IT (including business systems) across all international regions and the next phase is to transform their IT infrastructure domain to a globally connected ecosystem.
We are therefore seeking a highly experienced IT Infrastructure leader, who enjoys a hands-on approach to lead and support the existing IT teams across all international regions; helping define, develop and deliver a new consolidated Global technical infrastructureacross the business, consisting of around 45-50 sites and circa 1500 users.
Key Skills:
- Global domain and network consolidation
- Microsoft Azure / Cloud services
- TOGAF / ITIL
- Telecommunications (including Teams Voice - all telco will be moved to the cloud)
- SANS networking
- Cyber Security (Data centre & Cloud)
- Driving global transformational change
- Domain migration / consolidation
- Contract negotiation & Supplier management
- Working across a complex, matrix organisation
They are also moving global systems to Dynamics 365 so experience in this area is advantageous.
Manufacturing or logistics experience would be advantageous, but most importantly you'll come from a service-driven environment.
