**SCOPE**:
Consortio Security are looking to recruit 1 new Security Officers for a Logistics site in Sheffield

There will be an opportunity to increase your hours on the same site as and when the team are on holiday, off with sickness or off with compassionate issues. When the team are not on holiday or off with issues there is scope to work on neighbouring sites so you can increase your hours.

To be considered for this role you must hold an active SIA License be it a Door Supervisor or Security Guard and a SIA CCTV License. You also need to have a current First Aid qualification and have excellent customer service skills as the role involves working with employees and visitors to the site.

This role would suit someone who is flexible, able to think on their feet, who is able to constantly prioritise tasks ensuring that the most important issues are dealt with first and foremost.

Previous Logistical experience in a fast-paced environment would be beneficial but not essential as long as you have a ‘’can do attitude’’ and a ‘’will to succeed’’ you will be successful in the recruitment process and the subsequent role.

**MAIN DUTIES**:
Main Duties include: Controlling access and egress to site, booking staff and visitors onto the site, patrolling the site internally and externally, monitoring of CCTV across the site, immediate first aid management prior to the emergency servicesattending the site, fire evacuation and testing procedures, coordinating safe movement of staff and visitors whilst they are on site, Health and Safety checks as well as proactive and reactive incident management.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Purpose of the role: To provide an efficient and professional security service to Consortio Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of professionalism, customer service and integrity.

**DUTIES**:
Control access and egress, utilising the equipment and systems provided

Ensure clients’ staff, property and other assets are secure

Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally

Accurately operate and test designated alarm systems

Monitor CCTV systems for protection of people, property, and assets

Complete the daily log, noting all appropriate activity

Produce accurate reports as and when needed

Conduct sufficient internal and external patrols to ensure security of all zones utilizing technical capabilities

Ensure all procedures, site / assignment instructions and protocols are always followed; being particularly diligent when in an emergency situation

Maintain tidy and clean work areas

Dealing with post as and when it is delivered and handing it to the necessary responsible person

Ensuring personal boundaries are adhered to at all times making sure that the line is never crossed

Be an effective ambassador for Consortio, always smart and diligent with high levels of integrity

Previous Logistical experienced in a fast-paced environment would be beneficial

**SHIFT PATTERNS AVAILABLE**:
4-day shifts on0700-1900 then 4 days off then 4 night shifts on 1900-0700
