**Volunteer Translator (Edo/Bini) - Refugee Resettlement Support**

**About the Role**

The Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA) is looking for **Edo/Bini speaking volunteer translators** to support our **Sandwell Refugee Resettlement Project** in collaboration with the Sandwell Council. This initiative helps refugees in **Sandwell** access **permanent housing, healthcare, and essential services**, ensuring they can successfully resettle in the UK.

As a **Volunteer Translator**, you will support **Edo/Bini speaking** refugees through **the resettlement process**, providing spoken language assistance and helping them navigate essential services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide spoken **Edo/Bini** translation and interpretation during meetings and appointments.
- Help refugees connect with local **Edo/Bini** speaking communities and services.

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in **Edo/Bini** (spoken).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for supporting refugees and **helping them resettle successfully**.
- Organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Docs).
