Options Autism are recruiting Children’s Night Care Workers to join our team at Barton School. We work directly with autistic Children who exhibit a wide range of abilities, from non-verbal to high-functioning and You will be patient and compassionate and,most of all, dependable - working hard to forge a much-needed relationship of trust with those in your care.
This will involve creatively learning about the young person’s interests as well as their dislikes and their triggers, using that connection as a launchpad for a rewarding relationship. A passion for this kind of relationship-building is essential.
You will be responsible for the wellbeing of the children or young people in your care. This will include supporting the Children and Young people, as necessary, to perform nightly tasks such as personal care routines, going to bed, getting up in the morningand making breakfast. You will also complete relevant paperwork, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administer medication.
The home is **based in Barton Upon Humber** but is within commutable distance of Winterton, Scunthorpe, surrounds.
**Contracts available - Full Time Days & Nights, Part Time Days & Nights and Zero Hours Bank Contracts.**
