An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding learning and development department, which is a registered provider of apprenticeships, to develop and deliver educational activities as well as support learners. This role will specifically be supporting the provision of the PWP Apprenticeship and newly developed Mental health wellbeing practitioner programmes and you must be a qualified PWP or CBT therapist to be suitable for this role.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting individuals to fulfil their potential.
- Working with University/awarding bodies to develop Apprenticeship programmes.
- Working with the Apprenticeship Team to lead and deliver on the apprenticeship programmes.

Supporting learners in practice across mental health IAPT services toachieve clinical competencies associated with formal programmes of learning as well as ensuring a positive learning experience

To support the Learning and Development team in delivering the Trust’s learning and development agenda in line with the strategic direction of the Trust and supporting organisations.

To take a role in providing mentoring, teaching, support and supervision to leaners in practice in order to achieve clinical competencies for the PWP Apprenticeship programmes, and act as a key resource for supervisors.

To take responsibility for a defined group of learners as a named tutor.

To work with learners in practice, identifying varied and relevant learning activities.

To support the assessment of practice based learning, and provide prompt and accurate feedback to learners.

To participate in the monitoring and review of learner portfolios in order for them to successfully achieve their core competencies for the PWP apprenticeship programmes.

To take an active role in educational and clinical quality assurance processes.

To develop and maintain accurate and complete records of learner’s progress.

Be proactive and collaborative in identifying and responding to any issue which might affect the learner’s ability to succeed.

Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager, the post holder will take responsibility as part of the Trust’s Learning and Development Team for providing professional support, training and assessment of a small learners across formal Apprenticeship. The post holder will work with learners in practice across a variety of geographical locations and will support learners in practice to achieve clinical competencies. Working as part of a team the post holder will take responsibility for a defined group of learners and will act as a key resource for supervisors in order to embed these programmes within the organisation.

They will co-ordinate, plan, co-run and regularly review the content to ensure the programme meets the needs of service and the national standards.

- New starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.
