We have an exciting opportunity for a Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Primary Care team in West Midlands Regional area within HMP settings.

This is a really exciting time to join HMP Oakwood, HMP Featherstone and HMP Brinsford as a ACP, initially for these 3 site and eventually you will be travelling additional 7 sites around the West Midlands.

If you are looking for a development role into a ACP, we can look to support this.

You will be based in the Regional Hub Office based at Oakwood and will be a car driver.

**Hours**:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

**Salary**:
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £53755 - £58000**_ _**per annum FTE - depending on experience.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Advanced Clinical Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patient problems
- Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team, This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of
registered and non-registered professionals including; mental health, and substance misuse practitioners
- You will act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining
professional standards at all times
- Supporting senior clinicians on site you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients
- As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.

Qualifications required:

- Registered Nurse - Adult Mental Health with current NMC or Registered Paramedic with current HCPC
- Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification - not essential
- MSc in Advanced Practice
- Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best practice
guidance

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
