**Shift Pattern**:5 days out of 7

**Shift Times**:20:00-05:00hrs

**Wage**:£13.04 per hour start rate up to £14.30 (Overtime paid up to time and a half £19.56-£21.45). This is inclusive of Night Allowance + up to a further 10% should you be required to work in the freezer.

Various warehouse roles such as receiving in goods stock into building to be broken down into correct stock and dates, writing up stock onto GRN’s to then be booked on, relocating pallets into locations, general maintenance and completing hygiene of the warehouse, picking stock using handheld scanner onto pallets. It will also involve freezer work.

**Key Tasks / Responsibilities**:

- Principle Accountabilities & Objectives _
- Order picking using the correct procedures.
- Managing the goods in process to ensure the correct and timely intake of goods to the warehouse whilst simultaneously driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure correct dress code (PPE) is worn at all times.
- Follow clean as you go policy, so housekeeping is kept to the required standards.
- Report any Health and Safety issues to supervisor/manager.
- To be able to work overtime as and when required to meet business needs.
- Ensure all consolidated pallets are correct height and in safe condition.
- All pallets are consolidated to their maximum.
- To work at management discretion when required.
- Resource Management _
- Along with manager/supervisor monitor and control the use of resource in a cost-effective manner.
- Actively seek training in the respective areas to enhance the flexibility of the company
- People/Personal Management _
- Build working relationships with peers and work colleagues both within the department and throughout the company.
- Operate to high moral, personal and appearance standards.
- Maintain personal discipline, time keeping and morale.
- Information Management _ **Ensure information is recorded correctly on daily sheets and highlight any issues to supervisor/manager paying particular attention to daily stock check sheets.**
- Communicate with your supervisor/manager daily to ensure you understand targets and schedules
- Liaise with stock controllers and booking in staff with regards to stock movement
- Skills/Knowledge and Qualifications _
- Trained on all relevant equipment within chilled warehouse
- The ability to communicate with people within your area and other areas of the business.

Pay: £13.04 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
