As a senior proposal engineer, you will become part of our local sales team in Leighton Buzzard, UK,where we handle bids for commercial buildings. Moreover, you will join a brand new, international virtual HUB established to elevate our proposal competencies and handle the most technically complicated bids across the Western European region. In total, you will be 4 senior proposal engineers: 2 in England,1 in France and 1 in Portugal. - "We want to elevate our local capabilities in the project sales, and that’s where you and your new peers come into the picture,"_ says CSSC Regional Director, Western Europe, Florian de Joannes. **Manage large proposal projects across Western Europe** Using your technical knowledge of solution features and advantages, you will take responsibility of the most complex bids and ensure smooth execution of won bids with local project delivery teams when exist. Moreover, you will collaborate with your proposalengineer peers to define best practice and enable the local sales teams across the region to carry out more complex bids on their own. Your primary tasks will be to: - Manage and coordinate the proposal process, including ensuring contractual, commercial, legal and technical compliance with the client’s tender requirements - Manage, review and negotiate supply agreements with relevant sub-suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure alignment of service levels and manage risks and project costs - Participate in the negotiation process and follow-up with the client to ensure that all technical and commercial aspects of the project are addressed - Support the development of new technical solutions in collaboration with product experts as result of previously won bids. - Coach and train the local sales teams to raise the bar for proposal strategies, tools and processes **This position will directly report to the Western Europe Customer Sales and Support Center Director** **Technical specialist who knows how to build trust** It is essential that you have the interpersonal skills to build trust and establish credibility in the relationship with the client. You know your field, and any client working with you feels confident that your solution is bullet proof.
