**Job Summary**

4 / 5 Days per week. Shifts will included occasional Saturdays

Opening Hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday (staggered start times)

**Responsibilities**
- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations on products.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas.
- Prepare food items as per established recipes and guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Manage stock levels, including receiving deliveries, organising inventory, and restocking shelves as necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Support the shop manager in various tasks as required, demonstrating a willingness to help wherever needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management.
- A proactive attitude towards food preparation and customer service.
- Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to the shop's atmosphere.
