Dental Hygienist

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Perform periodontal assessments and charting, documenting findings accurately in patient records.
- Utilise medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop individualised treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the treatment area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices, including CAD technologies.

**Requirements**:

- Valid dental hygiene licence and relevant qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
- Experience with medical imaging is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with CAD technologies is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.

Pay: £25.00-£32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
