**Process Technologist - Chemical / Process Engineering**

**Job Salary**: £30k upwards DOE
**Job Details**:Full time, permanent role, 8:30am-4:30pm working hours - flexibility required

We are currently working with a leading supplier of packaging solutions in Birmingham, who are looking for a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related graduate to join their team in a new and exciting Process Technologist job.
Our client is committed to bringing talent into their company and offering training and mentorship throughout. Some previous work experience in industry relating to Engineering or Chemistry would be extremely valuable, even from a year in industry placement.
You will be responsible for becoming the site specialist for all activities related to water and effluent and be accountable for safety and environmental performance of the related systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the water and effluent treatment plant operates effectively and safety
- Carrying out monitoring and control of all aspects of water and effluent treatment
- Manage related chemical stocks
- Carry out trials to improve operation and support production trials
- Analyse water treatment processes

**Job Requirements**
- Some related technical engineering work experience or an industry placement is desirable
- Great attention to detail and organisation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with different departments
- A technical mind with the ability to analyse problems and find solutions
