**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for various tasks related to furniture handling, picking, packing, stocking, building, loading, and unloading.

This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and warehouse management systems (when necessary). It is not a deal breaker as full training can be provided, but experience is preferred.

Rate of pay is £11.50 per hour.

Working hours: 40 per week - Monday to Friday

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive, inspect, and store furniture in a fast paced warehouse
- Pick and label orders accurately and efficiently
- Build and assemble product for shop floor displays and/or customer orders
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
- Perform quality control checks on both orders incoming and outgoing
- Maintain a clean and organised work area

**Skills**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong materials handling abilities
- Proficiency in picking, placing, stock management, and building tasks
- Experience preferred with loading and unloading procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Competency in operating forklifts or other mechanical equipment
