**Projects Manager**

Full Time, Permanent

Bedford

**Hours**:8:30am - 5pm

**Salary**:£35,000-£42,000 PA

**Benefits**:25 days holiday + bank holidays, paid mileage, company pension.
- Our Bedford based client is seeking a Projects Manager to join them on a full-time permanent basis. You will be responsible for Managing the Projects Team._

**Duties**:

- Managing the important/high risk contracts and supporting your team in the management of their allocated contracts/projects.
- Ensuring all variations to contracts are highlighted and issued to the sales team.
- Working with both the Production and Installation Managers.
- Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and projects teams.
- Identifying and assigning projects tasks based on the skill sets, experience, and strengths of staff members alongside the daily management of the project coordinators.
- Monitoring and reporting monthly progress updates on major projects.
- Reviewing major projects post completion.
- Developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills.
- Attending required site meetings and conference calls - some UK travel may be required.

**Skills / Qualifications**:

- Proven track record managing multiple projects as a sub-contractor in the construction sector with combined values in excess of £5M. For a minimum of 5 years.
- Knowledge and understanding of contract documentation including NEC & JCT.
- Ability to read and understand technical construction and engineering drawings.
- Ideally will hold relevant CSCS skills card.
- Driving license and passport.

**Prior to starting work due to the security level you will be required to complete Disclosure Scotland Standard Vetting. It will also be part of your role to obtain SC clearance. These points will be discussed at your interview.**
